Strange, I was expecting a bunch of posts about this already, particularly since there's a demo available.
I actually like the game. If there are any others who liked it, I hope I get to see some in multiplayer.

I don't understand how a game can be out for a month, get a mention on the front page of Penny-arcade, and either not have a single player online or have its multiplayer function broken. I paid 15$ to not be able to play with anyone?

We're trying our best to reach out to new customers, but the fact is that not many know of Puzzlegeddon and that is why there are so few games online. The Multiplayer is not broken, in fact it works perfectly well and we have put in alot of work to make it easy to use. Hopefully the mention we got at Penny Arcade would increase the playerbase.

I managed to find other players once, the multiplayer wasn't broken to me. My only caveat was that the game loads so slowly on my system. I just find it funny that a simple puzzle game would take so long to load (it loads even longer than Rainslick!)
I had a harder time finding new multiplayer games since then, and I haven't been able to check if there are more people recently. Perhaps I should check again, maybe the holiday season will help.
A suggestion (perhaps this ain't easy): how about letting the player play a single player game while waiting for a multiplayer game to pop-up? The single player game will be interrupted or a notification will pop-up or something.

Thank you for the suggestion. It is, as you said, not that easy to implement. What you can do is to start a game with bots, and keep one or two slots open for players to join. You then kick bots as new players join until the game is full. This way, you don't have to wait until players join the game to play.
